Help protect Far North Queensland’s bananas

Panama disease tropical race 4 (Panama TR4) is a serious disease of bananas that has been found on farms in Far North Queensland.

It’s caused by a fungus that lives in the soil and is easily spread by movement of infected banana plants and planting material, and contaminated soil and water. It could have a huge impact on our banana industry.

We all need to work together to protect our banana farms and our communities.
